65 new jobs created in Wales
A new pharmaceutical facility recently opened in Deeside, Wales, which will make 65 news job available, according to the Welsh Assembly.
Quay Pharmaceuticals have invested in a new site worth £2.7 million, offering work in research and development as well as safeguarding a further 19 posts.
Mr Ieuan Wyn Jones, the minister for economy and transport, said: "We are proud of Wales healthcare and bioscience sector which employs some 15,000 people and is worth £1.3 billion every year."
Currently, the firm has 33 staff and will provide employment opportunities for Welsh graduates over the next few years, the ministry confirmed.
The company offers an outsourcing service for the development and testing of pharmaceutical products.
It was supported by Single Investment Funding worth £764,000, announced by Mr Jones last November.
Recently, the BBC reported that an extra 185 jobs would be created by the opening of a new site for insurance company Pure Options in Cardiff.
