Bosses turn to online recruitment in credit crunch, expert says
The credit crunch means that more employers are now considering online recruitment as an option when it comes to hiring workers, it has been claimed.
Changeboard believes that pressure has been put on managers to keep up with their competitors, especially during the recession, according to HR Zone.
Therefore many are becoming more aggressive with their recruitment strategies and can no longer ignore the opportunities presented by online recruitment.
Richard Bray, sales director for Changeboard, said: "The tide started to change a couple of years ago, but now the credit crunch has pushed web to the forefront as recruiters become more digitally savvy and aware."
He added that those using online recruitment are in a "fortunate position to be riding that wave".
It was recently revealed by InterSearch that flexibility is a quality many employers look for in new recruits, Online Recruitment reports.
