Care jobs boost in Hatherleigh
A new £10 million care home development is planning to take on 30 new members of staff in the coming weeks.
Local newspaper the North Devon Gazette reported Hatherleigh Care Village is recruiting for nursing and care staff from the local area.
Facilities at the home include a cinema, restaurant, internet cafe and spa, with staff members free to use all these services as part of the "perks" of the job.
Care Village manager Sue Trott said: "We are near the final stages of construction and are now recruiting nurses and care workers to join our fabulous team."
Meanwhile, Felix Wetzel, group marketing director at Jobsite, recently argued that Britons looking to get back into full-time employment should consider taking on part-time roles in order to freshen up their CV and ensure they are up to date with training.
He noted part-time work can be beneficial in as much as it allows a person to ease their way back into the workforce, leaving them with spare time to train or perhaps carry out voluntary work.
