Developing talented individuals 'key to business success'
Businesses must focus on ensuring they are offering the best training to their staff to make sure they are giving the most talented individuals opportunities to flourish, it has been claimed.
Ruth Spellman, chief executive of the Chartered Management Institute, said companies must continue to ensure the best members of staff are retained and the best way to do this is to offer them paths to improvement.
She commented: "Retaining and developing talented individuals is key to business success, so managers need to focus on creating a talent culture to ensure that employees are nurtured and developed to the advantage of the business."

This is lower than the global average of 51 per cent. However, India, Brazil, the US, China and Canada all showed better results than the UK.
