E-recruitment launched for financial firm
E-recruitment is the latest method to be used by financial services firm LV= Liverpool Victoria to improve its job application system.
The company is using new software make it easier to process applications and connect with candidates as it looks to integrate all of its insurance and investment systems across the UK, Computer Weekly reports.
The company has 15 HR staff yet increased its workforce from 2,000 to 3,700 this year. It is hoped the new online recruitment measures will help to automate applications and the screening and selection of applicants.
David Smith, group HR director at the company praised the development of the system.
"In six months we have moved from a manual paper-based system to where we are today with a fully integrated e-recruitment system," he said.
Financial recruiter Uzair Bawany recently claimed that the recent government bank bailout would benefit jobs in the sector, Recruiter reported.
