Hiring 'revolutionised' by online recruitment

Online recruitment and the technologies associated with it are 'revolutionising' the hiring process for employers, it has been claimed.

It is now much quicker, cheaper and more efficient for managers to find potential candidates, reports Web Newswire.

This has replaced the role of the traditional recruiter as cold calling and candidate networking are eclipsed in terms of effectiveness.

They also have intelligence and can easily head hunt possible interviewees using social and business networking sites.

According to Business Credit Management, a survey by Bibby Financial Services found supplying quality candidates to be the main priority for most online recruitment specialists.
