Index reveals employment demand still strong in some sectors

Some employment sectors have experienced a growth in the use of online recruitment sites to hire workers, it has been revealed.

According to the latest results from the Monster Employment Index, the healthcare sector has increased its demand for workers for the second month in a row.

Similarly, the telecommunications and education industries have also increasingly been using online recruitment agencies to hire staff.

In the occupational groups, agricultural and fishery workers saw an increase in demand for their skilled and services.

In terms of location, Northern Ireland was revealed by the index to have the biggest growth in online job availability.

Last month, the index was up by three points in Europe with the education and healthcare sectors once again having some of the highest demand for workers.
