New service 'could help produce standout CVs'

17/10/2008

Those looking to improve their CV and make sure it looks professional to potential employers may find the services of one website useful.

A pay as you CV writing service is being launched where people can pay from as little as £7.50 to get help with making their CV stand out, onrec.com reports.

The scheme by CV Master Careers allows people to pick which areas they feel they need the most help with if they cannot afford to have their whole CV written for them.

Tutorials include design and formatting, proofreading, editing and targeting to get the most out of an application.

Rachel Michna, managing director of the company, claims the service can "really help" people to "improve their CV and get to the next stage in their career rapidly".

In related news, a poll by Powerchex recently discovered that Brits are more likely to lie on their CV than job seekers in other European countries.
