Online recruitment looks strong in the UK
Online recruitment in the UK is looking strong according to the latest Monster Employment Index figures, released today.
In Britain, as well as France and Italy, internet hiring increased which suggests that job availability on the internet may still be high.
According to the index, there was continued demand for education and healthcare workers.
Similarly, there were also reports of increased opportunities by legislators, senior officials and managers as the index rose by three points compared to the same time last year.
However, although online recruitment in Europe as a whole looks positive, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands saw a decline in internet hiring.
Likewise, there was a fall in demand for factory and sales workers.
Yesterday, Onrec.com reported that some online recruitment agencies specialising in the credit and risk industries are thriving, with the number of jobs being advertised showing significant increases.
