Telford Central station to benefit from construction work scheme

Construction work will get underway to improve passenger facilities at Telford Central station, Network Rail has confirmed. The company will work alongside London Midland and Telford & Wrekin Council in an £800,000 revamp of the West Midlands station. Among the improvements will be the station's main building being re-glazed, swing doors being replaced with automatic ones and disabled access being provided at toilets.
